Claire and Heather at the Park

Heather and Jenn our old neighbors in Lincoln were in the area so we met at a park so the girls could play. They are great friends and growing up so much. We miss our great friends in Lincoln!

Becky, Sarah and Janis came for a visit earlier this month. We took a short trip to Chimney Rock about 30 miles from Scottsbluff. Claire and I went once before but this time she got to hike to the base of the rock and have a picnic lunch. Everytime we drive by Scottsbluff she says "Look Mama its Chimney Rock!" Here are some photos.

Our Little Claire

Claire is our first born and loves Cinderella, dressing like her everyday. She must wear a dress and pretty shoes at all times. She likes her hair down because it looks pretty that way. She doesn't want to eat because she wants to stay little (smart kid). She likes to help me or one of her Grandma's cook, she sings in the car. She loves watching Spongebob with her Daddy (p.s. I don't approve of this show). Her best friend is Heather and they both love dance class. Claire's dance teacher says she is too clever and always speaks her mind. Claire loves books and will read on her own for a long time. She also collects polly pockets (thanks Grandma Hein for introducing these to her) and can only play with them when Ella is napping. The parts are so small the vaccuum stores most of them.

Our Little Ella

Ella likes to talk and thinks she sounds like the rest of us but it is mostly chinese to me. She can say Hi, Mama, Dada, Night-Night, Uh-Oh, Baba (which is baby), and she shakes her head no a lot while laughing. She loves her blanket and licks it like a little kitty. Her favorite toy is anything that plays music, and my cell phone. She follows her sister all over the house while falling down on our slippery wood floors. She doesn't like strangers and will run and scream if approached. We are trying to teach Claire to react the same way. We call Ella our little peanut, bitty sue, and Ellie Mae.
