On Saturday we had some "Severe Weather", it was raining and we had thunder and lightning. I guess some lightning hit behind our house and since I was taking a nap (Claire had been up three times the night before), I did not hear the whole house shake. Anyways I thought it was strange to have that kind of weather in January.Aunt Becky came over to see Claire today too. When Becky was leaving, she hid out in the front bushes and was playing peek-a-boo with Claire at the window. She was trying to get her to wave bye-bye which she will do on occasion. You can't see in the photo but she was laughing really hard!
Claire is climbing on everything as you can see, her new bumper pad (thanks Gma Hein) is a great climbing tool. We hope she doesn't decide to climb over any time soon because the crib is as low as it will go...
She likes to play monster, we say "I'm gonna get you" and she crawls as fast as she can and laughs the whole way.
Wherever I go Claire hast to go too, she wants to be on the move all day long. She is getting really good at the whole crawling thing, don't worry she is not interested in the power cord in this instance, I have a toy waiting for her at the end of the hall. Needless to say we are not able to turn our head for even a second. A wise friend/mother told me, once they start crawling your life is over!
Claire has also started to kneel a lot. It is so cute, sometimes she puts her hands together and looks like she is on her knees praying..."Please God, tell my parents to let me crawl into the kitchen today, I want to eat the crumbs off the floor."
This is Claire's best friend and next door neighbor Heather Lynn, she was born 5.5.2005. Her mother Jennifer and I decided they are going to be best friends. They have such different personalities and milestones, it is fun to watch them grow together.
Amanda and Eric welcomed Kenadie Elaine Rollman into the world today and Claire turned 7 Months too. We are so happy for them and can't wait to see her. She looks just like Amanda!

I decided to get a free blog spot to publish Claire's "accomplishments" her other baby site ran out of memory.
Claire is pulling herself up on everything, crawling all over and learning the word no-no which is used probably too frequently. We decided she is growing up too fast for us!
