2. "Bye-Bye." She understands that this means someone is leaving and usually cries no matter who is going "bye-bye". She always accompanies with a wave. She also can say a two word sentence, "Bye-Bye Da Da". So talented...
3. "Da-Da." Da Da is her dominant word. If I say "Claire, where's Da Da?" She looks right over at Matt or will wave and say "Da-Da". (Conversely, if I say "Can you say Momma?" she looks at me blankly. Seriously Claire - 12 hours of labor. What part of that don't you understand?)
4. New Words - She has been saying "Shoo Shat", "Do Dat" and "Whas Sat" usually she points or sometimes shakes her finger like she is scolding us. Who is in charge here?
5. Milk - She goes to the fridge to retrieve her own milk, she pulls on the handle as hard as she can, no luck opening it yet. She also goes to the pantry and brings me some random food item thinking she needs a snack. When we play outside no need to bring a snack along she loves to eat dirt, sand, rocks and other landscape items.
6. Eating - She makes drinking noises and sticks her sippy cup up to your mouth. She blows on her food and whispers "hot". When she is done eating she puts her hands up in the air and flips out her wrists saying "all done", if you are not on the ball she will pull off her bib and toss her food on the floor.

8. Singing - Claire is quite a singer, we are not sure of all the words but she tries. She also does hand movements. Her favorite is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and she is able to make her little hands twinkle like stars and "up above the world so high" she holds her arms up and moves her wrists.

10. Big Girl Chair - She likes to sit in her own chair or sit on the steps dangling her feet. She will play for 1/2 an hour getting in and out of her chair or on and off the steps. She can say "outside" and uses it frequently pointing to the door. Almost every morning we go for a walk in the stroller with Heather and Jenn our neighbors, this is her favorite time of the day.
